Microgate has been a key partner in timing elite falconry competitions held in the UAE, including the championships in Dubai and Abu Dhabi since 2010.  Designed for events where the fastest falcons fly hundreds of metres in mere seconds, the system combines ultra-high-speed photofinish cameras, LIDAR sensors, RFID tracking of falcons, LED display boards, advanced race-management software, and full data-feed integration.  Customised modules support multiple race types—from straight-line 400/600 m “Telwah” speed races, to balloon-rise precision flights and slalom aircraft-chase endurance formats.
